Dear Diary,
I have never seen so many soldiers in one day before. There were tons and tons passing through. I was happy to see them and see so many healthy, but I was a little on the stressful side because I was trying to provide them with some food which took a lot of work. I am very blessed though to have such a wonderful daughter, Loretta. She helped me all day around the kitchen and serving the soldiers. If it wasn't for her, I would have lost my mind with all the stress and people, were still able to make it. The night is nigh and it's time for a good night's rest.
